Why us?
Getting a vegetable garden to flourish is no simple task—figuring out what to plant, when to plant it, and how to keep it all alive. South Florida’s unique climate adds complexity, as not all plants thrive here.
That’s why we design efficient raised beds with expert-selected plant combinations and smart layouts—to maximize your harvest and deliver high-quality, productive vegetable gardens.
Why use raised garden beds instead of planting directly in the ground?
Fewer Weeds – Since you’re starting fresh with clean soil, you’ll spend much less time pulling weeds.
Less Tilling (the process of breaking up and loosening soil) Needed – High-quality soil stays healthy for years with little digging or turning.
Healthier Soil – You don’t walk on the soil, so it stays loose. This helps water drain better and makes it easier for roots to grow.
More Vegetables – Raised beds let you plant closer together, which means bigger harvests in less space.
Looks Beautiful – A raised garden adds charm to your yard and gives you fresh, homegrown food you can be proud of.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What’s included in a raised bed?
Our raised beds include: building the beds, filling them with quality soil and planting organic veggies, herbs, and fruits suited for South Florida.
How often will you maintain the garden?
We offer maintenance visits for a flat monthly fee of $50, scheduled every 2–4 weeks depending on the planting cycle. Each visit includes pest control, pruning, and general garden upkeep to keep your vegetable garden healthy and thriving.
Can I maintain my garden myself?
Absolutely! In fact, your involvement is needed. You'll need to water your garden regularly—typically 2–3 times per week, depending on the weather. You should aim to give your garden about 1–2 inches of water per week, ensuring the soil stays evenly moist but not soggy.
We’ll provide you with simple, personalized instructions on how to care for your garden, including watering tips, signs to watch for, pest control tips, and when to harvest. We aim to make it easy for you to enjoy growing your own fresh food with confidence.
We also offer maintenance visits for a flat monthly fee of $50, scheduled every 2–4 weeks depending on the planting cycle. Each visit includes pest control, pruning, and general garden upkeep to keep your vegetable garden healthy and thriving.
Why use raised garden beds instead of planting directly in the ground?
Raised garden beds offer several key benefits that make growing vegetables easier, healthier, and more productive:
Fewer weeds – Since the beds are filled with fresh, screened soil and raised off the ground, you'll start with a clean slate and spend far less time weeding.
Healthier soil – Because you won’t be walking on the soil, there’s less compaction, which improves drainage and allows plant roots to access water and nutrients more effectively.
Minimal tilling (the process of turning, breaking up, and loosening soil) – High-quality soil lasts for years with very little effort.
Higher yields – Raised beds support close planting, such as square-foot gardening, which takes advantage of the rich soil to maximize space and harvests.
Beautiful and functional – A well-designed raised vegetable garden adds beauty and charm to your yard—and becomes a source of pride, joy, and fresh food for years to come.
What makes your gardens different?
We’ve created an efficient raised bed planting system designed specifically for South Florida’s climate. Our proven plant combinations and seasonal planning maximize harvests in every square foot.
Are the plants really organic?
We prioritize organically grown seeds and seedlings. While not all plants can be certified organic, we select the cleanest, most natural options available. All of our plants are organically grown from non-GMO seeds, using natural soil amendments and absolutely no synthetic chemicals.
How often is replanting needed?
We provide professional replanting once a year for a flat fee of $200, which includes all seeds and plants needed to keep your garden fresh and productive. This annual refresh revitalizes your vegetable beds, ensuring healthy growth and a continuous supply of seasonal crops. By renewing your garden each year, we help you enjoy a vibrant, thriving harvest throughout every season.
What bed size should I get?
The ideal garden size depends on how many people you’re feeding and your goals—whether you want just enough for fresh seasonal meals or you're aiming for more consistent, year-round harvests. Crop yields vary based on what you grow, and so does the space required. Some vegetables take up more room than others, so the right size really comes down to your lifestyle, preferences, and how much you’d like to harvest. We're happy to help you choose the perfect setup for your needs!
